Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
मम दयित तमा हृता वनात् रजनिचरेण विमथ्य येन सा ।
कथय मम रिपुम् तम् अद्य वै प्लवगपते यम सन्निधिम् नयामि ॥ ॥४-६-२७॥
Mama dayita tamā hṛtā vanāt rajanicareṇa vimathya yena sā ॥ Kathaya mama ripum tam adya vai plavagapate yama sannidhim nayāmi ॥ ॥4-6-27॥
Translation
"O Lord of Monkeys! Tell me of that enemy who stole my dearest beloved by agitating the forest. I will send him to the presence of Yama (Death) this very day."

"हे वानरराज (प्लवगपते)! मुझे मेरे उस शत्रु का पता बताओ जिसने वन को मथकर (उपद्रव मचाकर) मेरी प्राणप्रिया का हरण किया है। मैं आज ही उसे यमराज के पास भेजता हूँ।"
English Commentary
Rama addresses Sugriva as Plavagapate (Lord of the Monkeys) and demands actionable intelligence. The urgency is palpable in the word adya (today/now). Rama does not want to plan a long campaign; he wants immediate retribution to send the enemy to Yama sannidhim (the abode of Death). The use of vimathya (churning/agitating) describes the violent chaos Ravana created in the serene forest. This concludes Sarga 6 with a high-stakes cliffhanger.

राम सुग्रीव को 'प्लवगपते' (वानरों के स्वामी) कहकर संबोधित करते हैं और उनसे 'Intelligence' (शत्रु का पता) मांगते हैं। 'विमथ्य' शब्द का अर्थ है मथना या रौंदना, जो रावण की हिंसा को दर्शाता है। राम की व्याकुलता 'अद्य' (आज ही) शब्द में दिखती है—वे एक क्षण भी व्यर्थ नहीं करना चाहते। उनका लक्ष्य स्पष्ट है: 'यम सन्निधिम् नयामि' (यमराज के समीप ले जाना)। यहाँ सर्ग 6 समाप्त होता है।
