तूर्णम् उत्पत्य च आकाशम् आदित्य पथम् आस्थितौ ।
आवाम् आलोकयावः तत् वनम् शाद्वल संस्थितम् ॥ ॥४-६१-७॥
Tūrṇam utpatya ca ākāśam āditya patham āsthitau । Āvām ālokayāvaḥ tat vanam śādvala saṃsthitam ॥ ॥4-61-7॥
Translation
Flying up quickly into the sky, we established ourselves on the path of the sun. From there, we looked down and the forests appeared like patches of grass.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(फिर) हम तेजी से ऊपर आकाश में उड़कर सूर्य के मार्ग (कक्षा) में स्थित हो गए। वहां से हमने नीचे देखा तो वन घास के मैदान जैसे लग रहे थे।
English Commentary
The ascent continues rapidly (turnam utpatya). They enter the Aditya patham—the solar trajectory. The visual imagery scales down further: vast forests now resemble mere shadvala (grassy patches or turf). This consistent scaling—cities to wheels, forests to grass—demonstrates a progressive vertical ascent. Entering the sun's path marks the danger zone; they have left the safety of the earth's atmosphere and are encroaching upon the domain of intense solar radiation, setting the stage for the impending tragedy.

अब वे 'आदित्य पथम्' (सूर्य के मार्ग) में प्रवेश कर चुके हैं, जो अत्यंत ऊँचाई है। यहाँ से परिप्रेक्ष्य और बदल जाता है। विशाल वन अब 'शाद्वल' (घास के छोटे टुकड़ों या लॉन) की तरह दिख रहे हैं। 'तूर्णम्' (तेजी से) शब्द उनकी गति को दर्शाता है। वे वायुमंडल की परतों को चीरते हुए सौर मंडल की सीमा की ओर बढ़ रहे हैं। यह वर्णन गूगल अर्थ (Google Earth) जूम-आउट जैसा है—नगर पहिये बने, और अब जंगल घास के तिनके बन गए।
