त्वया अपि खलु तत् कार्यम् तयोः च नृप पुत्रयोः ।
ब्राह्मणानाम् गुरूणाम् च मुनीनाम् वासवस्य च ॥४-६२-१४॥
tvayā api khalu tat kāryam tayoḥ ca nṛpa putrayoḥ । brāhmaṇānām gurūṇām ca munīnām vāsavasya ca ॥4-62-14॥
Translation
"Indeed, that task (of helping Rama) is to be done by you also—for the sake of those two princes, for Brahmins, for Gurus, for Munis, and for Vasava (Indra)."

"निश्चय ही तुम्हें भी उन दो राजपुत्रों (राम-लक्ष्मण) का, ब्राह्मणों का, गुरुओं का, मुनियों का और इंद्र का वह कार्य करना है।"
English Commentary
Sage Nishakara explains to Sampati that the task of assisting Rama is not merely a personal duty to the two princes (nṛpa putrayoḥ). It is a universal imperative. The task serves the interests of the spiritual hierarchy: Brahmins, Gurus, and Munis (sages), who are persecuted by Ravana. It also serves Vasava (Indra/the gods). This validates the war against Ravana as a Dharma Yuddha (righteous war). By framing the task this way, Nishakara elevates Sampati from a crippled vulture to a crucial instrument of divine will, serving both the ascetic order on earth and the celestial order in heaven.

ऋषि निशाकर सम्पाती को समझाते हैं कि राम का कार्य केवल एक व्यक्ति का कार्य नहीं है। यह 'तयोः नृप पुत्रयोः' (राम-लक्ष्मण) का तो है ही, साथ ही यह धर्म के रक्षकों—ब्राह्मणों, गुरुओं और मुनियों—का भी कार्य है। रावण ने इन सभी को त्रस्त कर रखा था। यहाँ तक कि 'वासवस्य च' (इंद्र का भी) इसमें हित है, क्योंकि रावण ने देवताओं को भी जीत लिया था। ऋषि सम्पाती को यह अहसास दिला रहे हैं कि सीता का पता बताकर वह केवल एक राजा की मदद नहीं करेगा, बल्कि संपूर्ण धर्म व्यवस्था और ब्रह्मांडीय संतुलन को पुनः स्थापित करने में योगदान देगा। इस महान दायित्व के कारण सम्पाती को अपनी पीड़ा सहते हुए प्रतीक्षा करनी चाहिए।
