पक्ष लाभो मम अयम् वः सिद्धि प्रत्यय कारकः ।
इति उक्त्वा तान् हरीन् सर्वान् संपातिः पतगोत्तम ॥४-६३-१३॥

English Commentary
Sampati explicitly frames his miracle as a semiotic event for the Vanaras. The phrase siddhi pratyaya kārakaḥ means "that which creates conviction regarding success." He interprets his own healing as a divine signal meant for the monkeys, not just himself. By linking his pakṣa lābha (gain of wings) to their future victory, he removes the lingering shadow of the curse that had plagued the expedition (recall the earlier despair and fasting unto death). Sampati, the patagottama (best of birds), acts here as a spiritual guide, interpreting omens to boost morale.
