उत्पेततुः तदा पक्षौ समक्षम् वन चारिणाम् ।
स दृष्ट्वा स्वाम् तनुम् पक्षैः उद्गतैः अरुण च्छदैः ॥४-६३-९॥
utpetatuḥ tadā pakṣau samakṣam vana cāriṇām । sa dṛṣṭvā svām tanum pakṣaiḥ udgataiḥ aruṇa cchadaiḥ ॥4-63-9॥
Translation
...then, right in front of the forest-dwellers (Vanaras), two wings sprang up. Seeing his own body with newly grown wings possessing reddish feathers...

English Commentary
The miracle occurs instantaneously (tadā - then/at that moment). The verb utpetatuḥ (sprang up/grew out) indicates a sudden manifestation. Crucially, this happens samakṣam (in the presence of) the Vanaras, serving as a divine validation of Sampati's story and the mission's sanctity. The description of the feathers as aruṇa cchadaiḥ (reddish covering/feathers) is significant. It links Sampati back to his lineage (son of Aruna, the charioteer of the Sun) and symbolizes restoration of vitality. The visual of fresh, dawn-colored wings replacing the charred scars represents resurrection and the grace of the Sage.

यह वह क्षण है जब 100 वर्ष पुरानी भविष्यवाणी सत्य हुई। 'समक्षम्'—यह चमत्कार गुप्त रूप से नहीं, बल्कि वानरों की गवाही में हुआ, जो यह सिद्ध करता है कि राम का कार्य करने (सीता का पता बताने) के तत्काल बाद फल मिलता है। 'अरुण च्छदैः'—पंखों का रंग 'अरुण' (लाल/प्रातःकालीन सूर्य जैसा) बताया गया है। यह रंग नवजीवन, ऊर्जा और सूर्य के सारथी (अरुण) का प्रतीक है (सम्पाती अरुण के पुत्र हैं, अतः यह उनका नैसर्गिक स्वरूप है)। जले हुए पंखों का स्थान अब नए, तेजस्वी पंखों ने ले लिया।
