तत् विजृंभस्व विक्रांतः प्लवताम् उत्तमो हि असि ।
त्वत् वीर्यम् द्रष्टु कामा इयम् सर्वा वानर वाहिनी ॥ ॥४-६६-३५॥
Tat vijṛmbhasva vikrāntaḥ plavatām uttamo hi asi |
Tvat vīryam draṣṭu kāmā iyam sarvā vānara vāhinī ॥4-66-35॥
Translation
Therefore, O valiant one, expand yourself! You are indeed the best among those who leap. This entire army of Vanaras is eager to witness your prowess.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अतः हे पराक्रमी वीर! तुम अपना विस्तार करो (बड़े हो जाओ), क्योंकि तुम सब वानरों में श्रेष्ठ हो। यह पूरी वानर सेना तुम्हारे पराक्रम को देखने की इच्छा रखती है।
English Commentary
Here, Jambavan acts as the catalyst to awaken Hanuman's dormant potential. The command 'vijṛmbhasva' (expand yourself) is literal and metaphorical; Hanuman acts as the hope for the entire army. Jambavan reminds him that leadership requires stepping up when others are helpless. The verse highlights the expectation placed on the capable; the entire Vanara army is waiting to see the manifestation of strength that will end their despair. It signifies the moment a hero accepts their destiny.

यहाँ जाम्बवान हनुमान जी को उनकी सुप्त शक्तियों का स्मरण करा रहे हैं। 'विजृंभस्व' का अर्थ है अपने शरीर और ऊर्जा का विस्तार करना। विपत्ति के समय एक नेता या रक्षक की आवश्यकता होती है, और जाम्बवान हनुमान जी को बता रहे हैं कि पूरी सेना आशा भरी दृष्टि से उनकी ओर देख रही है। यह श्लोक हमें सिखाता है कि जब समाज या परिवार संकट में हो, तो सामर्थ्यवान व्यक्ति को संकोच छोड़कर अपनी पूरी क्षमता (विराट रूप) का प्रदर्शन करना चाहिए ताकि दूसरों का मनोबल बना रहे।
