बाहु वेग प्रणुन्नेन सागरेण अहम् उत्सहे ।
समाप्लावयितुम् लोकम् स पर्वत नदी ह्रदम् ॥ ॥४-६७-१२॥
Bāhu vega praṇunnena sāgareṇa aham utsahe |
Samāplāvayitum lokam sa parvata nadī hradam ॥4-67-12॥
Translation
By the force generated by my arms, I can splash the ocean waters and submerge the entire world, including its mountains, rivers, and lakes.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मैं अपनी भुजाओं के वेग से सागर के जल को उछालकर, पर्वतों, नदियों और झीलों सहित समस्त संसार को जलमग्न करने का सामर्थ्य रखता हूँ。
English Commentary
The focus shifts from flight to destructive power. Hanuman claims that the sheer kinetic energy of his arms moving through the water could displace the ocean and flood the earth. This imagery of inundating the world (samāplāvayitum lokam) serves to dwarf the ocean in the minds of the listeners. If he can weaponize the ocean against the land, simply crossing it is a trivial matter. It demonstrates total dominance over the element of water.

पिछले श्लोक में गति (speed) की बात थी, यहाँ बाहुबल (brute strength) की बात है। हनुमान जी कहते हैं कि वे समुद्र को लांघने के बजाय अपनी भुजाओं से उसके पानी को इतना मथ सकते हैं कि प्रलय आ जाए। यह 'जल-प्रलय' जैसी स्थिति पैदा करने की क्षमता दिखाता है। यह वानरों के मन से समुद्र की विशालता का भय निकालने के लिए कहा गया है—कि समुद्र मेरे लिए केवल एक जल का पात्र है जिसे मैं अपनी भुजाओं से नियंत्रित कर सकता हूँ।
