पन्नग अशनम् आकाशे पतन्तम् पक्षि सेवितम् ।
वैनतेयम् अहम् शक्तः परिगंतुम् सहस्रशः ॥ ॥४-६७-१४॥
Pannaga aśanam ākāśe patantam pakṣi sevitam |
Vainateyam aham śaktaḥ parigantum sahasraśaḥ ॥4-67-14॥
Translation
I am capable of circling Garuda (Vainateya), the devourer of snakes, a thousand times while he is flying in the sky attended by other birds.
हिंदी अनुवाद
आकाश में उड़ते हुए, पक्षियों द्वारा सेवित, सर्पों को खाने वाले गरुड़ (वैनतेय) की भी मैं हजारों बार परिक्रमा कर सकता हूँ।
English Commentary
Garuda, the divine eagle and vehicle of Vishnu, represents the pinnacle of aerial speed and mastery in Hindu mythology. By claiming he can circle Garuda a thousand times while Garuda is in flight, Hanuman asserts superiority over the fastest entity in existence. This is the ultimate benchmark of speed. It tells the army that there is no limitation in the sky (ākāśe) that he cannot surpass.

गरुड़ जी को पक्षियों का राजा और भगवान विष्णु का वाहन माना जाता है, जो अपनी तीव्र गति के लिए प्रसिद्ध हैं। हनुमान जी यहाँ एक और बड़ी तुलना करते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि उड़ते हुए गरुड़ की भी वे परिक्रमा कर सकते हैं। यह गति की सर्वोच्च सीमा (supersonic speed) का दावा है। यदि वे गरुड़ से भी तेज हैं, तो लंका पहुँचना उनके लिए पलक झपकने जैसा कार्य है।
