द्रक्ष्यन्ति निपतन्तम् च सर्व भूतानि वानराः ।
महा मेरु प्रतीकाशम् माम् द्रक्ष्यध्वम् प्लवंगमाः ॥ ॥४-६७-२१॥
Drakṣyanti nipatantam ca sarva bhūtāni vānarāḥ |
Mahā meru pratīkāśam mām drakṣyadhvam plavaṃgamāḥ ॥4-67-21॥
Translation
O Monkeys! All living beings, including you, shall see me descending (into Lanka). You shall behold me resembling the great Mount Meru in size/splendor.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे वानरों! समस्त प्राणी और तुम सब मुझे आकाश से (लंका में) उतरते हुए देखोगे। तुम मुझे महामेरु पर्वत के समान विशाल आकार वाला देखोगे।
English Commentary
Hanuman describes his arrival (descent) into the enemy territory. By comparing himself to Maha Meru (the Great Meru Mountain), he emphasizes not just physical size, but stability and unshakeable presence. He assures the anxious Vanaras that he will be visible to all beings (sarva bhūtāni), implying that he will not sneak in fearfully, but arrive with the grandeur befitting a cosmic force. It is a visualization of dominance.

यहाँ हनुमान जी अपने 'लैंडिंग' (अवतरण) की बात कर रहे हैं। 'निपतन्तम्' का अर्थ है नीचे उतरना। वे अपने साथियों को आश्वस्त कर रहे हैं कि उनका आकार और उपस्थिति इतनी विशाल होगी कि वे किसी से छिपेंगे नहीं। 'महामेरु प्रतीकाशम्' का अर्थ है मेरु पर्वत जैसा विशाल और स्थिर। यह उपमा उनके व्यक्तित्व की दृढ़ता और भव्यता को दर्शाती है। वे वानरों से कह रहे हैं कि "मेरी ओर देखो," जो एक नेता का आत्मविश्वास दर्शाता है।
