Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
वासवस्य स वज्रस्य ब्रह्मणो वा स्वयंभुवः ।
विक्रम्य सहसा हस्तात् अमृतम् तत् इह आनये ॥ ॥४-६७-२८॥
Vāsavasya sa vajrasya brahmaṇo vā svayaṃbhuvaḥ |
Vikramya sahasā hastāt amṛtam tat iha ānaye ॥4-67-28॥
Translation
I can forcefully snatch the Nectar (Amrita) from the hand of Indra (wielder of the Vajra) or even from the self-born Brahma, and bring it here.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मैं वज्रधारी इंद्र (वासव) अथवा स्वयंभू ब्रह्मा के हाथ से भी, अपने पराक्रम द्वारा सहसा अमृत छीनकर यहाँ ला सकता हूँ।
English Commentary
To underscore his determination, Hanuman proposes a hypothetical feat of impossible difficulty: stealing Amrita (nectar of immortality) from the supreme gods Indra and Brahma. This implies that no defense in Lanka, however strong (even Ravana's), can stand against him if he could potentially overcome the defenses of heaven itself. It emphasizes his ability to retrieve—whether it is Nectar or information about Sita.

सीता जी का पता लगाना कठिन कार्य है, लेकिन हनुमान जी उसे और भी कठिन कार्यों से तुलना करके छोटा बना रहे हैं। देवताओं के राजा इंद्र और सृष्टिकर्ता ब्रह्मा के हाथ से अमृत छीनना लगभग असंभव है। हनुमान जी कहते हैं कि यदि मैं वह कर सकता हूँ, तो सीता जी की खोज तो मेरे लिए संभव है ही। यह उनकी 'साधक' और 'योद्धा' दोनों रूपों की पराकाष्ठा है।
