Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ज्ञातीनाम् विपुलः शोकः त्वया तात प्रणाशितः ।
तव कल्याण रुचयः कपि मुख्याः समागताः ॥ ॥४-६७-३२॥
Jñātīnām vipulaḥ śokaḥ tvayā tāta praṇāśitaḥ |
Tava kalyāṇa rucayaḥ kapi mukhyāḥ samāgatāḥ ॥4-67-32॥
Translation
"O dear one (Tata)! You have destroyed the immense sorrow of your kinsmen. These leading monkeys have gathered here, wishing for your welfare/success."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे तात (बेटा)! तुमने अपने स्वजनों का विशाल शोक नष्ट कर दिया है। ये सभी प्रमुख वानर तुम्हारा कल्याण (मंगल) चाहते हुए यहाँ एकत्रित हैं।"
English Commentary
Jambavan confirms the psychological victory: the immense grief (vipulaḥ śokaḥ) is already gone. He refers to the collective intent of the army—they are now kalyāṇa rucayaḥ, meaning their minds are focused on Hanuman's success and safety. This acts as a spiritual send-off. The solitary hero is backed by the collective will and prayers of his community.

जाम्बवान हनुमान जी को स्नेह से 'तात' (बेटा) कहते हैं। वे पुष्टि करते हैं कि केवल वचनों से ही हनुमान ने सबका दुख हर लिया है। अब पूरी वानर सेना 'कल्याण रुचयः' (शुभकामनाएं देने वाली) बन गई है। किसी भी बड़े मिशन पर जाने से पहले बड़ों का आशीर्वाद और साथियों की शुभकामनाएं एक 'कवच' का काम करती हैं। यहाँ वह मंगल वातावरण तैयार हो गया है।
