त्वत् गतानि च सर्वेषाम् जीवितानि वन ओकसाम् ।
ततः च हरि शार्दूलः तान् उवाच वन ओकसः ॥ ॥४-६७-३५॥
Tvat gatāni ca sarveṣām jīvitāni vana okasām |
Tataḥ ca hari śārdūlaḥ tān uvāca vana okasaḥ ॥4-67-35॥
Translation
"The lives of all us forest-dwellers now depend entirely on you." Hearing this, Hanuman, the lion among monkeys, spoke to those forest-dwellers.
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हम समस्त वनवासियों के प्राण अब आप पर ही निर्भर हैं।" (जाम्बवान के ऐसा कहने पर) तब वानरों में श्रेष्ठ (हरि शार्दूल) हनुमान जी ने उन वनवासियों से कहा।
English Commentary
Jambavan underscores the immense stakes: Hanuman’s success equates to their survival, while failure spells their doom. The epithet 'Hari Shardula' (Lion among monkeys) is used to depict Hanuman’s awakened valor and commanding presence. Until now, Hanuman was a listener, absorbing the encouragement; now, accepting the weight of responsibility, he transforms into the speaker and leader. This moment marks the transition from contemplation to action, as he prepares to address his peers with the confidence required for the impending leap.

जाम्बवान यहाँ स्थिति की गंभीरता को रेखांकित कर रहे हैं—हनुमान जी की सफलता ही सबका जीवन है और असफलता सबका अंत। 'हरि शार्दूल' (वानरों में सिंह समान) विशेषण का प्रयोग हनुमान जी के जागृत पौरुष और आत्मविश्वास को दिखाने के लिए किया गया है। अब तक हनुमान जी श्रोता थे, लेकिन जिम्मेदारी का भार स्वीकारते ही वे वक्ता बन गए। यह क्षण उनके नेतृत्व और संकल्प के उदय का प्रतीक है। वे अब संकोच त्यागकर अपनी योजना और आत्मविश्वास को प्रकट करने के लिए तैयार हैं।
