को अपि लोके न मे वेगम् प्लवने धारयिष्यति ।
एतानि हि नगस्य अस्य शिला संकट शालिनः ॥ ॥४-६७-३६॥

(हनुमान जी बोले): "इस संसार में कोई भी ऐसा नहीं है जो छलांग लगाते समय मेरे वेग को धारण कर सके (सह सके)। केवल इस पर्वत की ये विशाल और घनी शिलाएं ही..."
English Commentary
Hanuman is making a realistic assessment of the physics involved in his leap. He understands that the "thrust" required to cross the ocean is so immense that ordinary ground would crumble under the reaction force. This is not arrogance, but a warrior's precise understanding of his own power and the environment. He is identifying a suitable "launchpad" capable of withstanding the equal and opposite reaction to his jump.
