नाना गन्धर्व मिथुनैः पान संसर्ग कर्कशैः ।
उत् पतद्भिः विहंगैः च विद्याधर गणैः अपि ॥ ॥४-६७-४५॥
Nānā gandharva mithunaiḥ pāna saṃsarga karkaśaiḥ |
Ut patadbhiḥ vihaṅgaiḥ ca vidyādhara gaṇaiḥ api ॥4-67-45॥
Translation
Various couples of Gandharvas, boisterous from intoxication and revelry, along with flocks of birds and groups of Vidyadharas, flew upwards (fleeing the mountain).
हिंदी अनुवाद
मदिरा पान और विलास में मग्न रहने वाले अनेक गन्धर्वों के जोड़े, आकाश में उड़ते हुए पक्षी, और विद्याधरों के समूह उस पर्वत से (डरकर) ऊपर उड़ने लगे।
English Commentary
The sheer pressure exerted by Hanuman’s stance turned a scene of leisure into one of panic. The phrase 'pana samsarga karkashaih' describes the Gandharva couples who, previously engrossed in intoxication and revelry, were rudely jolted by the tremors. This verse highlights the contrast between worldly indulgence (the Gandharvas) and the intense austerity of a divine mission (Hanuman). Hanuman’s unwavering resolve disrupts the atmosphere of pleasure, forcing even supernatural beings (Vidyadharas and Gandharvas) to abandon their sanctuary and flee into the sky for safety.

हनुमान जी के चरणों का दबाव इतना प्रचंड था कि पर्वत पर चल रहा विलास-विनोद अचानक भय में बदल गया। 'पान संसर्ग कर्कशैः' शब्द उन गन्धर्वों की स्थिति बताता है जो मदिरा के प्रभाव में थे और अचानक आए इस भूकंप जैसे झटके से हक्के-बक्के रह गए। यह श्लोक उस विरोधाभास को दिखाता है जहाँ एक ओर सांसारिक भोग-विलास (गन्धर्व) है और दूसरी ओर एक महान उद्देश्य (हनुमान) की कठोर तपस्या। हनुमान जी के संकल्प की तीव्रता ने भोगमय वातावरण को भंग कर दिया, जिससे वहां रहने वाले अलौकिक जीव अपना स्थान छोड़ने को विवश हो गए।
