महानुभावस्य वचो निशम्य हरिर् नृपाणाम् अधिपस्य तस्य ।
कृतम् स मेने हरिवीर मुख्यः तदा च कार्यम् हृदयेन विद्वान् ॥ ॥४-७-२५॥
Mahānubhāvasya vaco niśamya Harir nṛpāṇām adhipasya tasya |
Kṛtam sa mene harivīra mukhyaḥ tadā ca kāryam hṛdayena vidvān ॥4-7-25॥
Translation
Hearing the words of that great-souled Lord of Kings, the chief of the monkey heroes (Sugriva) felt in his heart that his task was as good as done.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वानर वीरों के मुखिया (सुग्रीव) ने उन महानुभाव राजाधिराज (राम) के वचनों को सुनकर अपने हृदय में समझ लिया कि उनका कार्य (बालि वध और राज्य प्राप्ति) मानो संपन्न हो ही गया।
English Commentary
This verse signifies the transition from hope to conviction. Sugriva, described here as Vidvan (wise/knowing), assesses Rama’s caliber and concludes that the outcome is inevitable. The phrase Kritam sa mene (he considered it done) is powerful—it implies that the potential energy of Rama's promise is as good as the kinetic energy of the action itself. This is the definition of faith in a superior power: the assurance of the result before the process even begins. Sugriva’s internal validation marks the end of his psychological exile.

सुग्रीव की 'श्रद्धा' यहाँ अपनी चरम सीमा पर है। राम ने अभी बाण भी नहीं उठाया है, केवल वचन दिया है, लेकिन सुग्रीव ने मान लिया कि कार्य 'कृतम्' (पूरा हो गया)। यह एक भक्त या मित्र का अपने रक्षक पर अटूट विश्वास है। सुग्रीव 'विद्वान' हैं, वे शक्ति और सत्य के प्रभाव को समझते हैं। उन्हें आभास हो गया कि जिसके साथ राम हैं, उसकी विजय निश्चित है। यह श्लोक हमें सिखाता है कि जब हम किसी समर्थ शक्ति (ईश्वर या गुरु) पर पूर्ण भरोसा कर लेते हैं, तो चिंता समाप्त हो जाती है और सफलता निश्चित प्रतीत होती है।
