Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अथोर्ध्वं दूरमुत्प्लुत्य हित्वा शैलमहार्णवौ ।
पितुः पन्थानमास्थाय जगाम विमलेऽम्बरे ॥ ॥५-१-१३५॥
Athordhvaṃ dūramutplutya hitvā śailamahārṇavau । Pituḥ panthānamāsthāya jagāma vimale'mbare ॥ ॥5-1-135॥
Translation
Then, leaping high and far, leaving behind the mountain and the great ocean, he traveled in the clear sky, taking to the path of his father.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर पर्वत और महासागर को छोड़कर, ऊपर की ओर दूर तक उछलकर, वे (हनुमान) अपने पिता (वायु) के मार्ग (आकाश) का आश्रय लेकर निर्मल आकाश में चले।
English Commentary
Having cleared the obstacle, Hanumān ascends higher. The text poetically describes the sky as pituḥ panthānam (the path of his father), referencing Vāyu. This implies that flight is his birthright and natural domain. He moves with the ease of a son walking in his father's house. The descriptor vimale'mbare (in the spotless/clear sky) mirrors his state of mind—clear, focused, and unburdened by the obligation he just resolved. He has physically and metaphorically risen above the "Mountain" and the "Ocean."

हनुमान जी ने अब ऊँचाई बढ़ा ली है ('ऊर्ध्वं')। 'पितुः पन्थानम्' (पिता का मार्ग) एक बहुत ही सार्थक प्रयोग है। आकाश वायु का क्षेत्र है, और हनुमान वायुपुत्र हैं। जैसे पुत्र पिता की संपत्ति या क्षेत्र में अधिकार और सहजता से विचरण करता है, वैसे ही हनुमान आकाश में उड़ रहे हैं। 'विमलेऽम्बरे' (निर्मल आकाश) यह संकेत देता है कि बाधा (मैनाक) के हटने के बाद अब मार्ग स्पष्ट है। आध्यात्मिक रूप से, जब साधक प्रलोभनों से ऊपर उठ जाता है, तो उसका मार्ग 'निर्मल' हो जाता है।
