भूयश्चोर्ध्वं गतिं प्राप्य गिरिं तमवलोकयन् ।
वायुसूनुर्निरालम्बे जगाम विमलेऽम्बरे ॥ ॥५-१-१३६॥
Bhūyaścordhvaṃ gatiṃ prāpya giriṃ tamavalokayan । Vāyusūnurnirālambe jagāma vimale'mbare ॥ ॥5-1-136॥
Translation
Rising to an even higher course and looking down at that mountain, the son of the Wind proceeded in the clear sky which is devoid of support.

और अधिक ऊँचाई (गति) प्राप्त करके, उस पर्वत को देखते हुए, वायुपुत्र हनुमान उस निरालम्ब (बिना किसी आधार वाले) निर्मल आकाश में आगे बढ़े।
English Commentary
Hanumān gains further altitude. His action of looking back at the mountain (girim tam avalokayan) signifies a lingering bond of affection and gratitude; he does not dismiss the past help arrogantly. The sky is described as nirālambe (propless/supportless). This word choice emphasizes the precarious nature of his feat. Flying without a resting spot in the void requires immense courage and faith. It contrasts the "support" offered by Maināka, which he just rejected, with the "supportless" void he has chosen to embrace for his mission.

हनुमान जी ऊपर उठते हुए नीचे मुड़कर मैनाक को देखते हैं ('गिरिं तमवलोकयन्'), जो कृतज्ञता का सूचक है; वे उपकारी को तुरंत भूले नहीं। यहाँ आकाश के लिए 'निरालम्बे' (बिना आलंबन/सहारे के) शब्द का प्रयोग किया गया है। यह हनुमान जी के साहस को रेखांकित करता है—नीचे अथाह समुद्र है, ऊपर अनंत आकाश, और पैर रखने के लिए कोई स्थान नहीं। ऐसे 'निरालम्ब' मार्ग पर केवल आत्मबल और भक्ति के सहारे ही यात्रा संभव है।
