प्रविष्टोऽस्मि हि ते वक्त्रं दाक्षायणि नमोऽस्तु ते ।
गमिष्ये यत्र वैदेही सत्यं चासीद्वरस्तव ॥५-१-१६९॥
praviṣṭo'smi hi te vaktraṃ dākṣāyaṇi namo'stu te |
gamiṣye yatra vaidehī satyaṃ cāsīdvarastava ॥5-1-169॥
Translation
"O Daughter of Daksha! I have indeed entered your mouth. Salutations to you. I will now go where Vaidehi is. Your boon has been proven true."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे दाक्षायणी (दक्ष की पुत्री)! मैं आपके मुख में प्रविष्ट हो चुका हूँ। आपको नमस्कार है। अब जहाँ वैदेही (सीता) हैं, मैं वहाँ जाऊंगा। आपका वरदान सत्य सिद्ध हुआ।"
English Commentary
Having successfully outwitted Surasa, Hanuman displays exemplary grace. Instead of gloating over his victory, he offers salutations (namo'stu te) and acknowledges her lineage as Dākṣāyaṇi (daughter of Daksha). He validates her divine boon, confirming that technically, he did enter her mouth. This resolution satisfies the cosmic law (the boon) without compromising the mission. It highlights Hanuman’s ability to navigate complex divine rules with a blend of literalism and lateral thinking, ensuring that he leaves no ill will behind him as he proceeds.

सुरसा के मुख से सुरक्षित बाहर निकलकर हनुमान जी अहंकार नहीं दिखाते, बल्कि विनम्रतापूर्वक उन्हें प्रणाम करते हैं। वह उन्हें 'दाक्षायणी' (दक्ष प्रजापति की पुत्री) कहकर उनके उच्च कुल का सम्मान करते हैं। यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की सत्यनिष्ठा और कूटनीति का अद्भुत उदाहरण है। उन्होंने सुरसा के वरदान (मुख में प्रवेश करने) की लाज भी रख ली और अपने प्राण भी बचा लिए। 'नमोऽस्तु ते' (आपको नमस्कार है) कहकर उन्होंने शत्रुता को समाप्त किया और सौहार्दपूर्ण विदा ली। यह सिखाता है कि बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति संघर्ष को भी संबंध में बदल सकता है।
