Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अर्थसिद्ध्यै हरिश्रेष्ठ गच्छ सौम्य यथासुखम् ।
समानयस्व वैदेहीं राघवेण महात्मना ॥५-१-१७१॥
arthasiddhyai hariśreṣṭha gaccha saumya yathāsukham |
samānayasva vaidehīṃ rāghaveṇa mahātmanā ॥5-1-171॥
Translation
"O best of Vanaras! O gentle one! Go happily for the success of your mission. Unite Vaidehi with the great-souled Raghava."

"हे हरिश्रेष्ठ! हे सौम्य! अपने प्रयोजन की सिद्धि के लिए सुखपूर्वक जाओ। वैदेही (सीता) को महात्मा राघव (राम) से मिलाओ।"
English Commentary
Surasa pronounces her benediction, explicitly endorsing Hanuman's mission. The shift in tone is complete; she addresses him as Hariśreṣṭha (Best of Monkeys) and Saumya (Gentle/Pleasant one). She wishes him yathāsukham (to go happily/at ease), removing all impediments. Her instruction to "unite Vaidehi with Raghava" aligns her will with the divine purpose of the avatar. This confirms that the gods' test was not to hinder Hanuman, but to empower him with the confidence that he can overcome even insurmountable supernatural barriers.

जो सुरसा अभी तक हनुमान को खाने पर तुली थीं, वही अब उन्हें आशीर्वाद दे रही हैं। 'अर्थसिद्ध्यै' (प्रयोजन की सफलता के लिए) कहकर उन्होंने हनुमान जी के मिशन को अपना समर्थन दिया। उन्होंने हनुमान जी को 'सौम्य' (सरल/भद्र) कहा, जो उनकी बुद्धि और व्यवहार से प्रभावित होने का प्रमाण है। 'समानयस्व' (मिलाओ/एक करो) शब्द के माध्यम से सुरसा ने रामायण के अंतिम लक्ष्य—राम और सीता के मिलन—के प्रति अपनी शुभकामना व्यक्त की। यह सिद्ध करता है कि सुरसा शत्रु नहीं, बल्कि एक शुभचिंतक परीक्षक थीं।
