सिंहकुञ्जरशार्दूलपतगोरगवाहनैः ।
विमानैः संपतद्भिश्च विमलैः समलंकृते ॥५-१-१७५॥
siṃhakuñjaraśārdūlapatagoragavāhanaiḥ |
vimānaiḥ saṃpatadbhiśca vimalaiḥ samalaṃkṛte ॥5-1-175॥
Translation
Which was adorned with spotless flying Vimanas (aerial cars) bearing figures of lions, elephants, tigers, birds, and snakes (or drawn by them).

जो सिंह, हाथी, बाघ, पक्षी और सर्प आदि के चिह्नों वाले (या इनके द्वारा खींचे जाने वाले) उड़ते हुए निर्मल विमानों से सुशोभित था।
English Commentary
The sky is depicted as a busy highway of Vimanas (celestial aerial vehicles). These vehicles are described as having motifs or engines shaped like lions, elephants, tigers, and serpents. The term saṃpatadbhiḥ implies they are in motion, flying about. This imagery paints the sky not as a void, but as a vibrant domain of the gods (Svarga). Hanuman is traversing a realm of high celestial traffic, emphasizing that his mission is taking place in the highest echelons of the cosmos.

आकाश में सैकड़ों 'विमान' उड़ रहे हैं। प्राचीन काल में देवताओं और पुण्यआत्माओं के वाहनों को विमान कहा जाता था। इन विमानों पर सिंह, हाथी, व्याघ्र आदि के चित्र बने थे या उनकी आकृतियाँ थीं। 'विमलैः' (निर्मल/चमकदार) शब्द विमानों की दिव्यता को दर्शाता है। यह दृश्य किसी व्यस्त हवाई मार्ग जैसा है, जहाँ हनुमान जी इन दिव्य विमानों के बीच से, बिना किसी से टकराए, अपने लक्ष्य की ओर बढ़ रहे हैं। यह रामायणकालीन समृद्धि और तकनीक (चाहे वह आध्यात्मिक हो या भौतिक) का संकेत देता है।
