भूतान्याकाशचारीणी तमूचुः प्लवगोत्तमम् ।
भीममद्य कृतं कर्म महत्सत्त्वं त्वया हतम् ॥ ॥५-१-१९७॥
bhūtānyākāśacārīṇi tamūcuḥ plavagottamam । bhīmamadya kṛtaṃ karma mahatsattvaṃ tvayā hatam ॥ ॥5-1-197॥
Translation
The beings wandering in the sky said to that best of leapers: "Today you have performed a formidable deed; a mighty creature has been slain by you."

आकाश में विचरण करने वाले प्राणियों ने उस वानरश्रेष्ठ (हनुमान) से कहा—"आज तुमने भयानक कर्म किया है और एक विशाल प्राणी (महाबली राक्षसी) का वध किया है।"
English Commentary
This verse serves as a chorus or divine validation of the hero's act. The Ākāśacārīṇi bhūtāni (aerial spirits) act as neutral observers who certify the magnitude of the threat. By calling the act Bhimam karma (a terrifying or awesome deed) and the creature Mahatsattvam (a being of great substance/power), the poet emphasizes that Simhika was not a trivial obstacle. This external validation elevates Hanuman’s stature from a mere messenger to a warrior capable of slaying monsters that terrorize even celestial beings.

सिंहमिका का वध कोई साधारण घटना नहीं थी। आकाशचारी भूतों द्वारा हनुमान जी की प्रशंसा करना यह सिद्ध करता है कि सिंहिका का आतंक तीनों लोकों में व्याप्त था। उन्होंने इसे 'भीमं कर्म' (भयानक या अतिदुष्कर कार्य) कहा। 'महत्सत्त्वं' का अर्थ यहाँ केवल शारीरिक विशालता नहीं, बल्कि उस राक्षसी की आसुरी शक्ति और प्रभाव (stamina/power) भी है। अदृश्य शक्तियों (छायाग्राही) से लड़ना प्रत्यक्ष युद्ध से अधिक कठिन होता है, इसीलिए इस विजय को विशेष महत्व दिया गया है।
