स मत्तकोयष्टिभकान् पादपान् पुष्पशालिनः ।
उद्वहन्नूरुवेगेन जगाम विमलेऽम्बरे ॥ ॥५-१-४६॥
sa mattakoyaṣṭibhakān pādapān puṣpaśālinaḥ |
udvahannūruvegena jagāma vimale'mbare ॥5-1-46॥
Translation
Carrying flowering trees filled with intoxicated Koyashtibha birds by the force of his thighs, he traveled in the clear sky.

वे (हनुमान) अपनी जांघों के वेग से, मतवाले कोयष्टिभ पक्षियों (टिटिहरी/water-fowl) से युक्त और फूलों से लदे हुए वृक्षों को साथ ले जाते हुए निर्मल आकाश में चले।
English Commentary
This verse adds a layer of beauty to the display of power. Hanuman is essentially carrying a suspended ecosystem into the sky—trees, flowers, and nesting birds (Koyashtibha). The force originates from his thighs (ūru-vega). The juxtaposition of the "clear sky" (vimale'mbare) with the chaotic mass of uprooted flora creates a surreal, cinematic image. It emphasizes that his takeoff was not just a jump, but an event that disrupted the local environment, carrying a piece of the mountain with him.

यह दृश्य बड़ा ही मनोरम है। हनुमान जी अकेले नहीं उड़ रहे; उनके साथ एक छोटा-सा उपवन (garden) भी हवा में है। वृक्षों पर फूल हैं और उनमें पक्षी भी बैठे हैं जो संभवतः 'मत्त' (मदमस्त) होने के कारण उखड़ने का आभास नहीं कर पाए। 'ऊरुवेगेन' (जांघों के वेग से) पुनः यह स्पष्ट करता है कि यह शक्ति उनके निचले शरीर (legs/thighs) के धक्के (thrust) से उत्पन्न हुई है। निर्मल आकाश और फूलों वाले वृक्षों का उड़ना एक स्वप्नवत (surreal) दृश्य बनाता है।
