Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
प्लवमानं तु तं दृष्ट्वा प्लवङ्गं त्वरितं तदा ।
ववर्षुः पुष्पवर्षणि देवगन्धर्वदानवाः ॥ ॥५-१-८३॥
plavamānaṃ tu taṃ dṛṣṭvā plavaṅgaṃ tvaritaṃ tadā । vavarṣuḥ puṣpavarṣaṇi devagandharvadānavāḥ ॥ ॥5-1-83॥
Translation
Seeing that monkey flying with such speed, the Devas, Gandharvas, and Danavas showered rains of flowers upon him.

उस समय आकाश में तेजी से उड़ते हुए उस वानर को देखकर देवताओं, गंधर्वों और दानवों ने उन पर फूलों की वर्षा की।
English Commentary
This verse signifies universal acclaim. The feat of crossing the ocean is so supernatural that it draws the attention of all celestial beings. The Devas (gods), Gandharvas (celestial musicians), and even the Danavas (demons/titans) unite in their admiration. The "rain of flowers" (puṣpavarṣaṇi) is a traditional mark of divine blessing and victory. The inclusion of Danavas suggests that true valor commands respect even from those who might usually be adversarial. It marks the transition of the mission from a physical attempt to a divinely sanctioned destiny.

हनुमान जी का कार्य केवल एक वानर का कृत्य नहीं था, यह एक असंभव साहस था जिसे देखकर तीनों लोकों के प्राणी—देवता, गंधर्व और दानव—विस्मित और प्रसन्न थे। 'पुष्पवर्षा' करना देवताओं द्वारा किसी कार्य को अनुमोदित और सम्मानित करने का प्रतीक है। यहाँ यह महत्वपूर्ण है कि केवल देवता ही नहीं, अपितु दानवों ने भी पुष्प वर्षा की। इसका अर्थ है कि वीरता और पराक्रम का सम्मान शत्रु और मित्र दोनों करते हैं। यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की यात्रा को 'राम-काज' के रूप में दैवीय स्वीकृति प्रदान करता है।
