हनूमान्रामकार्यार्थं भीमकर्मा खमाप्लुतः ।
अस्य साह्यं मया कार्यमिक्ष्वाकुकुलवर्तिनः ॥ ॥५-१-९६॥
hanūmānrāmakāryārthaṃ bhīmakarmā khamāplutaḥ । asya sāhyaṃ mayā kāryamikṣvākukulavartinaḥ ॥ ॥5-1-96॥
Translation
"Hanuman, of awesome deeds, has leapt into the sky for the sake of Rama's mission. I must render him assistance, as he acts for the scion of the Ikshvaku lineage."

"भीमकर्मा (भयानक कर्म करने वाले) हनुमान राम-कार्य के लिए आकाश में उछले हैं। मुझे इनकी सहायता करनी ही है, क्योंकि ये इक्ष्वाकु कुल के लोगों (राम) के सेवक हैं।"
English Commentary
The Ocean concludes his appeal by reiterating the mission's gravity. Hanuman is Bhīmakarmā—doer of terrifying or formidable deeds—emphasizing that he is a warrior on a warpath, not a casual traveler. The justification for help is threefold: the nature of the mission (Rama's work), the lineage involved (Ikshvaku), and the Ocean's own obligation. It is a definitive statement of alliance, setting the scene for Mainaka to rise and offer hospitality.
