Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अयम् च अत्र मया दृष्टः पर दार परिग्रहः ।
तस्य प्रादुर् अभूच् चिन्ता पुनर् अन्या मनस्विनः ॥ ॥५-११-३९॥
ayam ca atra mayā dṛṣṭaḥ para dāra parigrahaḥ । tasya prādur abhūc cintā punar anyā manasvinaḥ ॥ ॥5-11-39॥
Translation
"And I have seen this collection of another's wives here." (Thinking this,) another thought arose again in the mind of that wise one.
हिंदी अनुवाद
"मैंने यहाँ (रावण की) पत्नियों के समूह (परदारा-परिग्रह) को देखा है।" (ऐसा सोचते हुए) उस मनस्वी (बुद्धिमान हनुमान) के मन में पुनः एक दूसरी (समाधानकारी) चिंता/विचार उत्पन्न हुआ।
English Commentary
The verse captures the dialectic process in Hanuman's mind. He acknowledges the act ("I have seen"), but as a Manasvin (one possessed of a great mind/thinker), he does not succumb to guilt without reasoning. A counter-thought (anya chinta) arises. He prepares to rationalize his action based on the context of his mission (finding a kidnapped woman requires looking where women are kept), moving from moral panic to ethical clarity.

यह श्लोक समस्या से समाधान की ओर संक्रमण है। हनुमान जी स्वीकार करते हैं कि "हाँ, मैंने देखा है।" परन्तु वे 'मनस्वी' (जिसका मन वश में है/चिंतनशील) हैं। वे केवल पश्चाताप में नहीं रुकते, बल्कि तर्क (logic) की ओर बढ़ते हैं। 'पुनर् अन्या चिन्ता' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने समस्या का दूसरा पहलू (Second Opinion of the conscience) सोचना शुरू किया—कि आखिर मैं यहाँ क्यों आया हूँ? क्या सीता को ढूँढने का कोई और तरीका था?
