स्त्रियो हि स्त्रीषु दृश्यन्ते सदा सम्परिमार्गणे ।
यस्य सत्त्वस्य या योनिः तस्याम् तत् परिमार्ग्यते ॥ ॥५-११-४३॥
Striyo hi strīṣu dṛśyante sadā samparimārgaṇe |
Yasya sattvasya yā yoniḥ tasyām tat parimārgyate ॥5-11-43॥
Translation
Indeed, when searching, women are always found among women. Whatever the species of a living being, it is searched for amongst that very species.
हिंदी अनुवाद
खोज करने पर स्त्रियाँ सदा स्त्रियों के बीच ही दिखाई देती हैं। जिस प्राणी की जो जाति (योनि) होती है, उसे उसी जाति के प्राणियों में खोजा जाता है।
English Commentary
This verse employs an inductive logic rooted in natural observation. Hanuman argues based on the "Law of Association" or generic similarity. Just as a lost animal is sought within its herd, a lost woman is most naturally sought among other women. It would be futile to search for Sita in the assembly of ministers or the barracks of soldiers. Therefore, entering the women's quarters was a procedural necessity for the search. This commentary on his own actions serves to silence any internal doubt or external critique regarding propriety. It showcases Hanuman’s methodical approach (Karya-sadhaka), confirming that his actions are driven by the intellect's deduction of where the target (Sita) is most likely to be situated.

यहाँ हनुमान जी 'समानता के सिद्धांत' (Law of Similarity) का प्रयोग करते हुए अपनी खोज-नीति का औचित्य सिद्ध करते हैं। यह एक सामान्य लौकिक न्याय है कि 'सजातीय' ही 'सजातीय' के साथ रहता है। सीता एक स्त्री हैं, अतः उनकी खोज स्त्रियों के समूह में ही की जानी चाहिए, न कि पुरुषों के बीच। हनुमान जी का यह विचार उनकी सूक्ष्म बुद्धि और लोक-व्यवहार की समझ को दर्शाता है। वे यह स्पष्ट कर रहे हैं कि अंतःपुर में उनका प्रवेश कामुकता वश नहीं, अपितु एक तार्किक आवश्यकता (Logical Necessity) थी। वाल्मीकि जी यहाँ हनुमान के माध्यम से यह संदेश दे रहे हैं कि किसी भी कठिन कार्य को सिद्ध करने के लिए केवल बल ही नहीं, अपितु सही रणनीति और विवेक की भी आवश्यकता होती है।
