SUNDARA KANDA•SARGA: 13•SHLOKA: 38
इक्ष्वाकुकुलनाशश्च नाशश्चैव वनौकसाम् ।
सोऽहं नैव गमिष्यामि किष्किन्धां नगरीमितः ॥ ॥५-१३-३८॥
Ikṣvāku-kula-nāśaḥ ca nāśaḥ ca eva vana-okasām । So aham na eva gamiṣyāmi Kiṣkindhāṃ nagarīm itaḥ ॥ ॥5-13-38॥
Translation
(Returning means) the destruction of the Ikshvaku race and the destruction of the forest dwellers. Therefore, I will certainly not go to the city of Kishkindha from here.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(मेरे जाने से) इक्ष्वाकु वंश का नाश और वनवासियों (वानरों) का नाश निश्चित है। इसलिए, मैं यहाँ से किष्किन्धा नगरी वापस नहीं जाऊँगा।
English Commentary
The simulation ends, and the decision is made.

यह 'निर्णय' का श्लोक है। समस्त वितर्क और कल्पना के पश्चात हनुमान जी एक ठोस निर्णय पर पहुँचते हैं।
