वरुणः पाश हस्तः च सोम आदित्यै तथैव च ।
अश्विनौ च महात्मानौ मरुतः सर्व एव च ॥ ॥५-१३-६६॥
varuṇaḥ pāśa hastaḥ ca soma ādityai tathaiva ca |
aśvinau ca mahātmānau marutaḥ sarva eva ca ॥5-13-66॥
Translation
May Varuna holding the noose, Soma (the Moon), Aditya (the Sun), the high-souled Ashvini Kumaras, and all the Maruts also grant me success.

हाथ में पाश धारण करने वाले वरुण देव, सोम (चंद्रमा), सूर्य, महात्मा अश्विनीकुमार और सभी मरुद्गण भी मुझे सफलता दें।
English Commentary
Continuing his invocation, Hanuman expands his prayer to cover elemental and celestial forces. Varuna, the god of moral order and water, is invoked alongside the luminaries Sun and Moon, who witness all deeds on earth. The Ashvini Kumaras represent healing, perhaps anticipating the physical toll of the coming battles. The Maruts are storm deities associated with the wind, reinforcing his connection to his own elemental nature. This comprehensive prayer indicates that Hanuman is preparing physically, mentally, and spiritually, leaving no stone unturned in seeking blessings for the difficult task of finding Sita in the enemy's lair.
