इयम् च नलिनी रम्या द्विज सम्घ निषेविता ।
इमाम् सा राम महिषी नूनम् एष्यति जानकी ॥ ॥५-१४-४४॥
iyam ca nalinī ramyā dvija samgha niṣevitā |
imām sā rāma mahiṣī nūnam eṣyati jānakī ॥5-14-44॥
Translation
And here is a beautiful lotus pond frequented by flocks of birds. Janaki, the Queen of Rama, will surely come here.

और यहाँ पक्षियों के समूहों से सेवित यह रमणीय कमलिनी (सरोवर) है। राम की पटरानी जानकी निश्चय ही यहाँ आएँगी।
English Commentary
Hanuman employs logical deduction to strategize his search. Observing the nalinī (lotus pond) frequented by birds (dvija samgha), he infers that this peaceful, natural spot serves as a likely location for Sita to visit. By referring to her as Rāma mahiṣī (Rama’s consecrated Queen), he underscores her royal status, yet acknowledges her current humble reality where she must fetch water or seek solace in nature personally. The word nūnam (surely/certainly) indicates Hanuman's growing confidence that his ambush location is correct based on psychological profiling of Sita.

यहाँ हनुमान जी अपनी तर्कशक्ति (deductive reasoning) का प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। 'द्विज संघ निषेविता' (पक्षियों के झुंड द्वारा सेवित) का अर्थ है कि यहाँ का वातावरण शांत और प्राकृतिक है। हनुमान जी जानते हैं कि सीता जी प्रकृति प्रेमी हैं। उन्होंने सीता जी को अभी देखा नहीं है, परन्तु वे उनकी आदतों और आवश्यकताओं का अनुमान लगा रहे हैं। 'राम महिषी' (राम की पटरानी) शब्द का प्रयोग कर वे सीता जी के उच्च कुल और मर्यादा का स्मरण करते हैं। वे पूर्ण विश्वास ('नूनम्') के साथ कहते हैं कि सीता जी जल के लिए या शांति के लिए इस सरोवर पर अवश्य आएँगी।
