Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
वैदेह्या यानि च अन्गेषु तदा रामो अन्वकीर्तयत् ।
तानि आभरण जालानि गात्र शोभीनि अलक्षयत् ॥५-१५-४१॥
vaidehyā yāni ca angeṣu tadā rāmo anvakīrtayat । tāni ābharaṇa jālāni gātra śobhīni alakṣayat ॥ ॥5-15-41॥
Translation
Hanuman observed on her body those very sets of ornaments that Rama had previously described as belonging to Vaidehi (Sita).
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस समय राम ने सीता के अंगों में जिन आभषणों का वर्णन किया था, हनुमान जी ने उन आभूषण-समूहों को उनके शरीर पर सुशोभित देखा।
English Commentary
This verse underscores Hanuman’s sharp memory and attention to detail. Before the search began, Rama had cataloged Sita’s jewelry (anvakīrtayat). Hanuman now cross-references the ornaments visible on her body with that mental inventory. Finding the ābharaṇa jālāni (sets of ornaments) to be a match provides material confirmation beyond just physical likeness. It shifts the identification from subjective resemblance to objective verification.
हिंदी टीका
यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की स्मरण शक्ति और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा का प्रमाण है। किष्किंधा में श्री राम ने सीता के आभूषणों का जो विवरण दिया था, हनुमान जी ने उसे हु-ब-हु याद रखा है। 'अन्वकीर्तयत्' का अर्थ है विस्तार से बताया था। यद्यपि सीता जी ने कुछ आभूषण गिरा दिए थे, किन्तु जो शरीर पर शेष रह गए थे, वे ठीक वही थे जिनका वर्णन राम ने किया था। यह 'प्रत्यभिज्ञा' (recognition) का सबसे ठोस प्रमाण है।
