उपधाय भुजं तस्य लोकनाथस्य सत्कृतम् ।
कथं नामोपधास्यामि भुजमन्यस्य कस्य चित् ।

Upadhāya bhujaṃ tasya lokanāthasya satkṛtam |
Kathaṃ nāmopadhāsyāmi bhujamanyasya kasya cit ॥5-19-15॥
Translation
"Having rested my head on the arm of that Lord of the World, which is worshiped/honored, how can I ever rest on the arm of anyone else?"
हिंदी अनुवाद
"उस लोकनाथ (संसार के स्वामी, राम) की सत्कार योग्य (सत्कृतम्) भुजा का तकिया (उपधाय) बनाकर सोने के बाद, मैं किसी अन्य की भुजा का आश्रय कैसे ले सकती हूँ?"
English Commentary
Sita expresses physical and spiritual revulsion at the thought of Ravana. She contrasts Ravana's arm with Rama's. Rama is Lokanātha (Lord of the World), and his arm is satkṛtam (honored/virtuous—perhaps marked by the scars of protecting the righteous). Having known the comfort and sanctity of resting on such a noble limb (upadhāya - using as a pillow), the idea of touching anyone else's arm is inconceivable. It underscores that for Sita, Rama is the ultimate standard; once one has known the best, the inferior is repulsive.

यह श्लोक सीता के पातिव्रत्य और राम के प्रति उनके प्रेम की गहराई को शारीरिक और भावनात्मक दोनों स्तरों पर व्यक्त करता है। राम की भुजा को 'लोकनाथस्य भुजं' (संसार के स्वामी की भुजा) और 'सत्कृतम्' (जिसका सत्पुरुष आदर करते हैं) कहा गया है। यह भुजा सुरक्षा और धर्म का प्रतीक है। सीता कहती हैं कि जिसने ईश्वरतुल्य राम के संरक्षण का अनुभव कर लिया हो, वह किसी और (विशेषकर एक राक्षस) की भुजा का स्पर्श कैसे स्वीकार कर सकती है? यह प्रश्न अलंकारिक है, जिसका उत्तर 'असंभव' है। यहाँ राम के पौरुष और देवत्व का स्मरण सीता को संबल देता है।
