क्षिप्रं तव स नाथो मे रामः सौमित्रिणा सह ।
तोयमल्पमिवादित्यः प्राणानादास्यते शरैः ।
।
॥५-१९-२९॥
kṣipraṃ tava sa nātho me rāmaḥ saumitriṇā saha । toyamalpamivādityaḥ prāṇānādāsyate śaraiḥ । । ॥5-19-29॥
Translation
My Lord Rama, together with Sumitra's son (Lakshmana), will soon drain your life with arrows, just as the sun dries up a small amount of water.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरे स्वामी राम, सुमित्रानंदन लक्ष्मण के साथ मिलकर, अपने बाणों से तुम्हारे प्राणों को शीघ्र ही वैसे सोख लेंगे, जैसे सूर्य थोड़े से जल को सोख लेता है।
English Commentary
Sita concludes her warning in this Canto with a powerful metaphor from nature. She likens Ravana's life force to "a small amount of water" (toyamalpam) and Rama to the scorching "Sun" (aditya). Just as evaporation is inevitable when intense heat meets shallow water, Ravana's death is inevitable when he meets Rama's arrows. This imagery conveys both the swiftness of the impending death and the absolute superiority of Rama's power over Ravana's existence.

सीता जी यहाँ 19वें सर्ग का समापन एक भविष्यवाणी के साथ करती हैं। वह 'आदित्य' (सूर्य) और 'अल्प तोय' (थोड़ा जल) की उपमा देती हैं। जैसे तेज धूप में छोटी तलैया का पानी सूखने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता, वैसे ही राम के बाण रावण के प्राण हर लेंगे। यहाँ राम के लिए 'नाथः' (स्वामी/रक्षक) शब्द का प्रयोग उनके अधिकार और शक्ति को दर्शाता है। रावण का जीवन उस 'अल्प जल' के समान क्षणभंगुर है जो राम रूपी सूर्य के ताप को सहन नहीं कर सकता।
