ततः पादपमुक्तेन पुष्पवर्षेण वीर्यवान् ।
अभिवृष्टः स्थितस्तत्र बभौ पुष्पमयो यथा ॥ ॥५-२-२॥
tataḥ pādapamuktena puṣpavarṣeṇa vīryavān । abhivṛṣṭaḥ sthitastatra babhau puṣpamayo yathā ॥ ॥5-2-2॥
Translation
Then, showered by a rain of flowers released from the trees, the valiant one standing there appeared as if he were made of flowers.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर (वेग के कारण) वृक्षों से गिरी हुई पुष्प-वर्षा से ढके हुए वे वीर्यवान (हनुमान) वहां खड़े हुए ऐसे सुशोभित हुए, मानो वे स्वयं फूलों के बने हों।
English Commentary
Nature itself seems to welcome the hero. The physical impact of his landing shakes the trees, causing a Puṣpavarṣa (rain of flowers). The warrior, previously described as mountain-like and terrifying to beasts, is now Puṣpamayo (made of flowers). This juxtaposition serves a dual purpose: it illustrates the density of the foliage in Lanka and symbolically softens Hanuman's presence, marking his transition from a destructive force (crossing the ocean) to a subtle, beautiful presence (entering the city).

यह एक अत्यंत मनोरम दृश्य है। हनुमान जी के उतरने के वेग (Vibration/Wind) से वृक्षों के फूल उन पर बरस पड़े। कवि की कल्पना देखिये—'पुष्पमयो यथा' (मानो फूलों के ही बने हों)। जो वज्र जैसा कठोर योद्धा है, उसे प्रकृति ने फूलों से ढक दिया। यह एक प्रकार का प्राकृतिक स्वागत (Natural Welcome) भी है और हनुमान जी की 'सौम्यता' का प्रतीक भी। वीर रस के बाद यहाँ शांत और श्रृंगार रस का एक हल्का स्पर्श है जो कथा में मधुरता घोलता है।
