स पाण्डुराविद्धविमानमालिनीं ।
महार्हजाम्बूनदजालतोरणाम् ।
यशस्विनीं रावणबाहुपालितां ।
क्षपाचरैर्भिमबलैः समावृताम् ॥५-२-५६॥
sa pāṇḍurāviddhavimānamālinīṃ |
mahārhajāmbūnadajālatoraṇām |
yaśasvinīṃ rāvaṇabāhupālitāṃ |
kṣapācarairbhimabalaiḥ samāvṛtām ॥5-2-56॥
Translation
He saw that glorious city, adorned with rows of white multi-storied buildings reaching toward the sky, featuring archways made of precious gold lattice, protected by the arms of Ravana, and surrounded by night-roaming demons of terrifying strength.

उन्होंने उस यशस्वी नगरी को देखा जो आकाश को स्पर्श करने वाले श्वेत भवनों की पंक्तियों से सुशोभित थी, जिसके तोरण (द्वार) बहुमूल्य स्वर्ण की जालियों से बने थे, जो रावण की भुजाओं द्वारा पालित थी और भयानक बल वाले निशाचरों से घिरी हुई थी।
English Commentary
