Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
एवमुक्त्वा तु वैदेहीं रावणो राक्षसाधिपः ।
क्रोधसंरम्भसंयुक्तः सीतामुत्तरमब्रवीत् ।

॥५-२०-७॥
evam uktvā tu vaidehīṃ rāvaṇo rākṣasādhipaḥ । krodhasaṃrambhasaṃyuktaḥ sītām uttaram abravīt । । ॥5-20-7॥
Translation
Having spoken thus to Vaidehi, Ravana, the Lord of Rakshasas, full of anger and agitation, spoke further to Sita.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वैदेही (सीता) से ऐसा कहकर, क्रोध और आवेश से युक्त राक्षसराज रावण ने सीता से अगला (निर्णायक) वचन कहा।
English Commentary
This narrative verse bridges Ravana's emotional outburst to his specific ultimatum. The descriptor krodhasaṃrambhasaṃyuktaḥ (united with anger and flurried agitation) suggests Ravana is losing his composure. He is not calculating and cool anymore; he is reactive and volatile. This transition signals that the conversation is moving from persuasion and boasting to direct threats and deadlines.

यह एक संयोजक श्लोक (connecting verse) है जो रावण के मनोभावों को और स्पष्ट करता है। 'क्रोधसंरम्भसंयुक्तः' का अर्थ है क्रोध और हड़बड़ी/उत्तेजना से भरा हुआ। रावण अब केवल चर्चा नहीं कर रहा, बल्कि अब वह एक अल्टीमेटम (अंतिम चेतावनी) देने की स्थिति में आ गया है। उसके धैर्य का बाँध टूट चुका है और अब वह अपनी अंतिम शर्त रखने जा रहा है। यहाँ कवि ने रावण की शारीरिक भाषा और मानसिक स्थिति का चित्रण किया है।
