कामं मध्य समुद्रस्य लङ्केयं दुष्प्रधर्षणा ।
न तु राघवबाणानां गतिरोधी ह विद्यते ।

Kāmaṃ madhye samudrasya laṅkeyaṃ duṣpradharṣaṇā |
Na tu rāghavabāṇānāṃ gatirodhī ha vidyate ॥5-24-16॥
Translation
Granted, this Lanka is difficult to conquer being in the middle of the ocean; but indeed, there is nothing that can obstruct the path of Raghava's arrows.
हिंदी अनुवाद
यह सत्य है कि समुद्र के बीच में होने के कारण लंका पर आक्रमण करना कठिन ('दुष्प्रधर्षणा') है, किन्तु राघव (राम) के बाणों की गति को रोकने वाला तो कोई भी नहीं है।
English Commentary
Sita debates with herself. She acknowledges a logistical difficulty: Lanka is an island fortress surrounded by the ocean, making it dushpradharshana (hard to assail). However, she immediately counters this doubt with faith. She asserts that nothing exists that can impede (gatirodhi) the flight of Rama's arrows. This metaphor suggests that Rama's power transcends geographical boundaries. It signifies that while physical entry might be hard for an army, Rama's reach as a warrior is limitless.

सीता जी स्वयं ही राम के न आने का संभावित कारण सोचती हैं—शायद समुद्र? लंका समुद्र के बीच अभेद्य किले जैसी है। लेकिन अगले ही क्षण वह इस तर्क को खारिज कर देती हैं। वह जानती हैं कि राम के बाणों के लिए न तो समुद्र बाधा है और न ही लंका की दीवारें। 'राघवबाणानां' की शक्ति असीम है। यह श्लोक राम की शस्त्रास्त्र विद्या पर सीता के विश्वास को दिखाता है। उन्हें पता है कि भौतिक बाधाएँ राम के संकल्प को नहीं रोक सकतीं।
