यदि मामिह जानीयाद्वर्तमानां स राघवः ।
अद्य बाणैरभिक्रुद्धः कुर्याल्लोकमराक्षसं ।

Yadi māmiha jānīyādvartamānāṃ sa rāghavaḥ |
Adya bāṇairabhikruddhaḥ kuryāllokamarākṣasam ॥5-24-21॥
Translation
If that Raghava knew that I am present here, he would become furious and, with his arrows, rid the world of demons this very day.

यदि वे राघव (राम) जान जाएं कि मैं यहाँ (जीवित) हूँ, तो वे अभी क्रोधित होकर अपने बाणों से इस लोक को राक्षसों से रहित कर देंगे।
English Commentary
Sita visualizes the consequences of Rama discovering her location. The hypothesis starts with "If he knew" (yadi janiyad). The result would be immediate (adya - today itself) and catastrophic for the demons. She predicts that Rama, fueled by righteous anger (abhikruddhah), would purge the entire world of demons (lokam arakshasam kuryat). This hyperbole underlines her belief in his omnipotence. It isn't just about saving her anymore; it’s about the total annihilation of the evil force holding her.

सीता जी का विश्वास अब पूर्ण वेग पर है। वह कल्पना करती हैं कि यदि राम को सत्य का पता चल जाए, तो क्या होगा। 'अद्य' (आज ही) शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है—विलंब केवल अज्ञान के कारण है, सामर्थ्य के कारण नहीं। 'अमिक्रुद्धः' (अत्यंत क्रोधित होकर) राम 'लोकमराक्षसं' (संसार को राक्षसों से शून्य) कर देंगे। यह केवल लंका विजय नहीं, बल्कि सम्पूर्ण राक्षस जाति के विनाश की भविष्यवाणी है। सीता जी जानती हैं कि राम का क्रोध प्रलयंकारी है।
