Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अचिरेणैव कालेन प्रप्स्याम्येव मनोरथम् ।
दुष्प्रस्थानो ऽयमाख्याति सर्वेषां वो विपर्ययम् ।
।
॥५-२६-२७॥
Acireṇaiva kālena prapsyāmyeva manoratham । Duṣprasthāno 'yamākhyāti sarveṣāṃ vo viparyayam । । ॥5-26-27॥
Translation
In a very short time, I shall indeed attain my heart's desire. This evil course/bad omen foretells the destruction of you all.

थोड़े ही समय में मेरा मनोरथ अवश्य पूर्ण होगा। यह (राक्षसों का) दुराचरण/बुरे शकुन तुम सभी के विनाश की सूचना दे रहा है।
English Commentary
Sita concludes this train of thought with a reaffirmation of hope. She declares that she will attain her manoratham (desire/wish) very soon. She interprets the duṣprasthāna—which can refer to Ravana's evil conduct or the bad omens observed in Lanka—as a clear sign of the impending viparyayam (reversal of fortune/destruction) for the Rakshasas. This transition from lamentation to confident prediction marks her resilience. She reads the cosmic signs and the moral law, understanding that Ravana's continued tyranny is unsustainable and her liberation is the natural correction the universe will soon make.

इन 12 श्लोकों के इस समूह का समापन सीता जी आशा और विश्वास के साथ करती हैं। वे कहती हैं 'प्रप्स्याम्येव' (मैं अवश्य प्राप्त करूँगी)—अर्थात राम से मिलन का उनका मनोरथ शीघ्र पूर्ण होगा। वे अपने आसपास हो रहे अपशकुनों और रावण के अधार्मिक व्यवहार ('दुष्प्रस्थान') को देखकर यह निष्कर्ष निकालती हैं कि राक्षसों का 'विपर्यय' (विनाश/उल्टा समय) निकट है। भारतीय चिंतन में माना जाता है कि जब पाप का घड़ा भर जाता है या बुरे शकुन दिखने लगते हैं, तो विनाश सुनिश्चित होता है। सीता जी यहाँ अपनी अंतरात्मा की आवाज़ सुन रही हैं जो विजय की घोषणा कर रही है।
