युक्तां हंससहस्रेण स्वयमास्थाय राघवः ।
शुक्लमाल्याम्बरधरो लक्ष्मणेन सहा गतः ।

yuktāṃ haṃsasahasreṇa svayamāsthāya rāghavaḥ |
śuklamālyāmbaradharo lakṣmaṇena sahā gataḥ ॥5-27-10॥
Translation
...yoked with a thousand swans. Standing upon it was Rama (Raghav) himself, along with Lakshmana, wearing white garlands and white garments.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...जो हज़ार हंसों से जुटी हुई थी। उस पर स्वयं रघुनंदन (राम) लक्ष्मण के साथ विराजमान थे और उन्होंने श्वेत माला तथा श्वेत वस्त्र धारण किए हुए थे।
English Commentary
The visual symbolism continues with "a thousand swans" (haṃsasahasreṇa). Swans represent spiritual purity and discernment. Rama is described wearing white garlands and clothes (śukla-mālya-ambara). In Indian dream interpretation (svapna-shastra), seeing oneself or a deity in white signifies success, truth, and victory over death. Seeing Rama with Lakshmana confirms that the brothers are united and approaching for the rescue. This image directly counters the terrifying, dark visuals of the Rakshasas.

यह श्लोक अत्यंत शुभ संकेतों से भरा है। 'हंस' विवेक और पवित्रता का प्रतीक है। 'शुक्लमाल्यास्वरूपधारि' (सफेद माला और वस्त्र) सत्व गुण, शांति और विजय का सूचक है। स्वप्न शास्त्र के अनुसार, स्वप्न में श्वेत वस्त्र धारण करना सफलता और कल्याण की निशानी है। लक्ष्मण का साथ होना यह बताता है कि भाई का सहयोग बना रहेगा। राम का यह तेजस्वी रूप सीता के मन में जमे अवसाद के अंधकार को काटने वाला है।
