English Commentary
The imagery of the dream begins with symbols of supreme royalty. An ivory (gajadanta) palanquin floating in the sky (antarikṣagām) suggests a divine mode of transport, distinct from earthly travel. This elevates Rama from a wandering exile to a celestial warrior or king. The whiteness of ivory also links to the recurring theme of the color white in this dream, symbolizing purity (Sattva) and victory, contrasting with the dark complexion usually associated with Rakshasas.

त्रिजटा स्वप्न का वर्णन आरम्भ करती है। 'गजदन्तमयीं' (हाथीदांत की बनी) और 'दिव्याम्' (अलौकिक) पालकी ऐश्वर्य और राजसी ठाठ का प्रतीक है। 'अन्तरिक्षगाम्' (आकाश में चलने वाली) का अर्थ है कि राम का आगमन सामान्य नहीं, अपितु दैवीय शक्तियों के साथ होगा। यह पुष्पक विमान का भी पूर्व-संकेत हो सकता है। यह दृश्य राम की वनवासी छवि के विपरीत उनके भावी राज्याभिषेक और प्रभुता को दर्शाता है।
