ततस्तस्य नगस्याग्रे ह्याकाशस्थस्य दन्तिनः ।
भर्त्रा परिगृहीतस्य जानकी स्कन्धमाश्रिता ।

tatastasya nagasyāgre hyākāśasthasyadantinaḥ |
bhartrā parigṛhītasya jānakī skandhamāśritā ॥5-27-14॥
Translation
Thereafter, Janaki was seen seated on the shoulder of that elephant which was standing on the summit of that mountain in the sky, held securely by her husband.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तत्पश्चात, आकाश में स्थित उस पर्वत के शिखर पर खड़े उस हाथी के स्कंध (कंधे) पर जानकी जी बैठी हुई थीं और उनके पति (श्री राम) ने उन्हें थाम रखा था।
English Commentary
This verse depicts restoration of status and safety. Being seated on the shoulder of the elephant (dantinaḥ skandham) places Sita in a position of royal honor, high above her current captors. The key phrase is bhartrā parigṛhītasya (held/embraced by her husband), which symbolizes the ultimate protection. Physically and metaphorically, she is lifted from the ground of sorrow to the skies of relief. The dream assures that Rama will not just defeat the enemy but physically reclaim and support his wife.

यह श्लोक सीता की सुरक्षा और उच्च स्थिति का परिचायक है। हाथी के कंधे पर बैठना राजसी सम्मान का प्रतीक है, और 'भर्त्रा परिगृहीतस्य' (पति द्वारा थामी गई) यह दर्शाता है कि अब सीता अकेली नहीं हैं। राम का स्पर्श और सहारा उन्हें प्राप्त हो चुका है। 'आकाशस्थस्य' (आकाश में स्थित) यह संकेत करता है कि वे लौकिक कष्टों और लंका की भूमि से ऊपर उठ चुके हैं। यह दृश्य सीता के मन को अत्यंत ढाढ़स बंधाने वाला है कि राम उन्हें स्वयं आकर सुरक्षित स्थान पर ले जाएंगे।
