कुम्भकर्णादयश्चेमे सर्वे राक्षसपुङ्गवाः ।
रक्तं निवसनं गृह्य प्रविष्टा गोमयह्रदे ।

॥५-२७-३८॥
Kumbhakarṇādayaśceme sarve rākṣasapuṅgavāḥ । Raktaṃ nivasanaṃ gṛhya praviṣṭā gomayahrade । । ॥5-27-38॥
Translation
All the prominent Rakshasa leaders, beginning with Kumbhakarna, were seen wearing red garments and sinking into a pool of cow dung.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कुम्भकर्ण आदि ये सभी राक्षस-श्रेष्ठ लाल वस्त्र धारण करके गोबर के गड्ढे (कीचड़) में डूबे हुए दिखाई दिए।
English Commentary
This vision signifies the impending doom of the Rakshasa military leadership. In ancient symbolism, wearing red garlands or garments often signifies a person marked for sacrifice or execution. Seeing powerful warriors like Kumbhakarna sinking into a pit of cow dung ('Gomaya hrade') represents a humiliating and sticky end, stripping them of their glory. It suggests that despite their immense physical strength, they are heading towards a hellish downfall from which there is no escape. Trijata confirms that the destruction will be total, sparing none of the elites.

स्वप्न शास्त्र के अनुसार, तेल पीना और लाल वस्त्र धारण करना मृत्युसूचक माना जाता है। कुम्भकर्ण जैसे महाबलशाली योद्धाओं का 'गोमय ह्रद' (गोबर के गड्ढे) में डूबना उनके पतन और दुर्गति का प्रतीक है। लाल रंग यहाँ रक्तपात और वध का संकेत देता है, जबकि गोबर के गड्ढे में प्रवेश करना यह दर्शाता है कि उनका अंत सम्मानजनक नहीं, बल्कि अपमानजनक और कष्टकारी होगा। त्रिजटा यहाँ स्पष्ट कर रही हैं कि केवल रावण ही नहीं, बल्कि उसके शक्तिशाली सहयोगी भी इस युद्ध में नहीं बचेंगे; सम्पूर्ण राक्षस कुल का विनाश निश्चित है।
