पक्षी च शाखानिलयः प्रहृष्टः पुनः पुनश्चोत्तमसान्त्ववादी ।
सुस्वागतां वाचमुदीरयानः पुनः पुनश्चोदयतीव हृष्टः ।

Pakṣī ca śākhānilayaḥ prahṛṣṭaḥ punaḥ punaścottamasāntvavādī |
susvāgatāṃ vācamudīrayānaḥ punaḥ punaścodayatīva hṛṣṭaḥ ॥5-27-51॥
Translation
A bird perched on a branch, filled with delight, chirped repeatedly in a soothing and consoling tone. Uttering sounds that seemed to say "Welcome," it appeared to be encouraging Sita again and again with great joy.
हिंदी अनुवाद
शाखा पर बैठा हुआ एक पक्षी अत्यंत हर्षित होकर बार-बार मधुर और सांत्वना देने वाली बोली बोल रहा था। वह 'सुस्वागत' जैसी वाणी का उच्चारण करते हुए मानो बार-बार (सीता जी को) प्रेरित और उत्साहित कर रहा था।
English Commentary
Following the somatic omens, the environment itself begins to offer solace. The bird is not merely chirping but is described as a "speaker of excellent consolation." In literature, birds often act as messengers or harbingers of guests. Here, the bird's joyful repetition acts as a psychological balm for Sita, subconsciously preparing her to receive a guest (Hanuman). The use of the word susvāgatām (welcome) implies that the bird is heralding the arrival of the solution to her grief. It signifies the alignment of nature with Dharma.

शारीरिक शकुनों के बाद अब प्राकृतिक वातावरण भी सीता जी के अनुकूल हो रहा है। यहाँ पक्षी का कलरव केवल शोर नहीं, बल्कि 'उत्तमसान्त्ववादी' (श्रेष्ठ सांत्वना देने वाला) कहा गया है। जब कोई घोर संकट में होता है, तो प्रकृति के छोटे संकेत भी ईश्वर का संदेश बन जाते हैं। यह पक्षी मानों हनुमान जी के आगमन और राम के संदेश का 'स्वागत' कर रहा है। यह श्लोक अंधकार में प्रकाश की किरण जैसा है, जो यह दर्शाता है कि अशोक वाटिका का वातावरण अब भय से आशा की ओर परिवर्तित हो रहा है।
