तासां श्रुत्वा तु वचनं राक्षसीनां मुखाच्च्युतम् ।
उवाच वचनं काले त्रिजटा स्वप्नसंश्रितम् ।

tāsāṃ śrutvā tu vacanaṃ rākṣasīnāṃ mukhāccyutam |
uvāca vacanaṃ kāle trijaṭā svapnasaṃśritam ॥5-27-8॥
Translation
Hearing those words falling from the mouths of the ogresses, Trijata spoke words relating to the dream at that appropriate moment.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन राक्षसियों के मुख से निकले हुए वचनों को सुनकर, त्रिजटा ने उस (उचित) समय पर स्वप्न से सम्बंधित बात कहनी आरम्भ की।
English Commentary
Trijata responds to the fearful curiosity of the guards. The text notes she spoke kāle (in time/at the right moment). This implies both the narrative pacing—striking while the iron is hot to protect Sita—and the chronological significance of the dream occurring in the early morning hours, which in Vedic tradition signifies a dream that will come to fruition. Trijata assumes the role of an oracle here.

यहाँ 'काले' (समय पर) शब्द का विशेष महत्व है। यह ब्रह्म मुहूर्त (भोर) का संकेत देता है, जिस समय देखे गए स्वप्न सत्य माने जाते हैं। त्रिजटा ने देखा कि अब राक्षसियाँ सुनने को तत्पर हैं और भयभीत हैं, अतः यह सत्य का उद्घाटन करने का सही अवसर है। उसने परिस्थिति की गंभीरता को समझते हुए, बिना किसी संकोच के, अपने स्वप्न का वृत्तांत सुनाना शुरू किया ताकि सीता को सांत्वना मिले और राक्षसियाँ शांत हों।
