हा राम सत्यव्रत दीर्घबाहो हा पूर्णचन्द्रप्रतिमानवक्र ।
हा जीवलोकस्य हितः प्रियश्च वध्यां न मां वेत्सि हि राक्षसानाम् ।

॥५-२८-११॥
Hā Rāma satyavrata dīrghabāho hā pūrṇacandrapratimānavakra |
hā jīvalokasya hitaḥ priyaśca vadhyāṃ na māṃ vetsi hi rākṣasānām ॥5-28-11॥
Translation
O Rama, of truthful vows and long arms! O you whose face resembles the full moon! O you who are the well-wisher and beloved of the living world! Alas, you do not know that I am about to be killed by the Rakshasas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हा सत्यव्रती और विशाल भुजाओं वाले राम! हा पूर्ण चंद्रमा के समान सुंदर मुख वाले! हा समस्त प्राणी जगत का हित करने वाले और सबके प्रिय! आप यह नहीं जानते कि राक्षसों द्वारा मेरा वध होने वाला है।
English Commentary
Sita invokes Rama by his attributes: his physical power (dīrghabāho - long-armed), his beauty (pūrṇacandra - full moon), and his moral integrity (satyavrata). The tragedy lies in the disconnect—Rama is the universal protector and beloved of all beings, yet he is oblivious to the imminent execution of his own wife. The verse underscores the pain of dying unmourned and un-rescued by the one person capable of saving her.

सीता जी के विलाप में राम के गुणों का स्मरण है। 'दीर्घबाहो' का अर्थ है लंबी भुजाओं वाला (वीरता का प्रतीक), और 'सत्यव्रत' का अर्थ है धर्म का पालन करने वाला। विडंबना यह है कि जो राम पूरे संसार का हित करते हैं ('जीवलोकस्य हितः'), वे इस समय अपनी ही पत्नी के आसन्न संकट से अनजान हैं। सीता जी का दुख यह नहीं है कि वे मर रही हैं, बल्कि यह है कि राम को उनकी मृत्यु की सूचना भी नहीं मिलेगी और वे उन्हें बचाने का प्रयास नहीं कर पाएंगे।
