पितुर्निदेशं नियमेन कृत्वा वनान्निवृत्तश्चरितव्रतश्च ।
स्त्रीभिस्तु मन्ये विपुलेक्षणाभिस्त्वं रंस्यसे वीतभयः कृतार्थः ।
।
॥५-२८-१४॥
Piturnideśaṃ niyamena kṛtvā vanānnivṛttaścaritavrataśca |
strībhistu manye vipulekṣaṇābhistvaṃ raṃsyase vītabhayaḥ kṛtārthaḥ ॥5-28-14॥
Translation
I suppose that having dutifully fulfilled your father's command and completed your vows, you will return from the forest. There, free from fear and having achieved your purpose, you will enjoy the company of beautiful women with large eyes.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मैं मानती हूँ कि आप पिता की आज्ञा का विधिवत पालन करके और अपना व्रत पूरा करके वन से (अयोध्या) लौट जाएंगे। और वहाँ भयमुक्त होकर, कृतार्थ (सफल) होकर, बड़ी-बड़ी आँखों वाली सुंदर स्त्रियों के साथ रमण करेंगे।
English Commentary
This verse highlights the psychological vulnerability of separation (Viraha). Sita imagines a future where Rama returns to Ayodhya, successful and worry-free (vītabhayaḥ), enjoying life with other women, while she is forgotten and dead. This is a classic trope in tragic romance where the sufferer projects a happy future for the beloved that excludes them. It underscores her feeling of being dispensable and the terror of being replaced and forgotten.

यह 'विप्रलम्भ शृंगार' (वियोग) का एक स्वाभाविक भाव है, जिसमें प्रेमी को यह भय होता है कि उसका प्रिय उसे भूल जाएगा। सीता जी कल्पना करती हैं कि उनकी मृत्यु के बाद राम अयोध्या लौट जाएंगे और दूसरी रानियों (या नया विवाह करके) के साथ सुखी जीवन बिताएंगे। यह ईर्ष्या नहीं, बल्कि अपनी अनुपस्थिति में राम के जीवन की कल्पना है, जो उनके दुख को और गहरा कर देती है। वे सोचती हैं कि राम 'वीतभय' (चिंतामुक्त) हो जाएंगे, जबकि सीता यहाँ तड़प रही हैं।
