Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
विधत्स्व सर्वकार्याणि यानि यानीह वाञ्छसि ।
प्रविश्य शापोपहतां हरीश्वर ।
शुभाम् पुरीम् राक्षसराजपालिताम् ।
यदृच्छया त्वम् जनकात्मजाम् सतीम् ।
विमार्ग सर्वत्र गاتو यथासुखम् ॥ ॥५-३-५१॥
Vidhatsva sarvakāryāṇi yāni yānīha vāñchasi । Praviśya śāpopahatāṃ harīśvara । Śubhāṃ purīṃ rākṣasarājapālitām । Yadṛcchayā tvam janakātmajāṃ satīm । Vimārga sarvatra gato yathāsukham ॥ ॥5-3-51॥
Translation
O Lord of Monkeys! Do whatever deeds you wish here. Enter this auspicious (beautiful) city protected by the King of Rakshasas, which is now struck by a curse. Go everywhere according to your pleasure and search for the chaste daughter of Janaka (Sita).
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे हरीश्वर! तुम जो भी कार्य करना चाहते हो, करो। शाप से ग्रस्त, किन्तु (बाह्य रूप से) सुंदर और राक्षसराज द्वारा पालित इस नगरी में प्रवेश करो। तुम स्वेच्छा से सर्वत्र जाकर जनकनंदिनी सती सीता को सुखपूर्वक खोजो।
English Commentary
This verse serves as the final clearance. Lankini describes Lanka with a duality: it is Shubham (beautiful/auspicious in appearance) yet Shapopahatam (struck by a curse/doomed). This juxtaposes the material splendor of Ravana’s capital with its spiritual bankruptcy. She specifically directs Hanuman to search for Sita (Janakatmajam), validating his primary mission. The phrase Yathasukham (happily/at ease) implies that Hanuman can now roam freely without fear of the city’s magical defenses, as the primary defense has fallen. It signifies the removal of all metaphysical obstacles, leaving only the physical tasks ahead.

यह श्लोक पिछले श्लोक का विस्तार है और इसमें लंकिनी का अंतिम आशीर्वाद निहित है। वह लंका को 'शापोपहताम्' (शाप से मारी गई) कहती है, जो यह दर्शाता है कि लंका का वैभव अब केवल एक भ्रम है, उसका विनाश तय है। फिर भी वह उसे 'शुभाम्' (सुंदर) कहती है, जो लंका के भौतिक ऐश्वर्य को दर्शाता है। लंकिनी हनुमान जी को विशेष रूप से 'जनकात्मजाम्' (जनक की पुत्री) को खोजने का निर्देश देती है। 'विमार्ग' (खोजो) और 'यथासुखम्' (सुखपूर्वक/बिना किसी रोक-टोक के) शब्द हनुमान जी को आश्वस्त करते हैं कि अब कोई उन्हें नहीं रोकेगा। यह लंकिनी का प्रस्थान और हनुमान जी के लंका-प्रवेश का अंतिम औपचारिक क्षण है।
