किन्किणी जाल घोषाभिः पताकाभिः अलम्कृताम् ।
आसाद्य सहसा हृष्टः प्राकारम् अभिपेदिवान् ॥५-३-७॥
kinkiṇī jāla ghoṣābhiḥ patākābhiḥ alamkṛtām |
āsādya sahasā hṛṣṭaḥ prākāram abhipedivān ॥5-3-7॥
Translation
The city was decorated with flags that produced sounds from the networks of small bells attached to them. Reaching it, and filled with sudden delight, he leaped onto the rampart.
हिंदी अनुवाद
छोटी घंटियों (किंकिणी) के समूह की ध्वनि से युक्त पताकाओं से वह नगरी अलंकृत थी। उस नगरी के पास पहुँचकर, हर्षित होकर हनुमान जी अचानक परकोटे (दीवार) पर चढ़ गए।
English Commentary
The auditory detail of bells ('kinkini') on the flags suggests a warning system or simply a decorative element that creates a constant murmur in the wind. Hanuman's reaction is 'hrishta' (delighted)—the thrill of action. He does not hesitate at the wall; he scales it. This marks the physical crossing of the threshold into the enemy's inner sanctum. The wall represents the boundary of Dharma and Adharma; crossing it is the first step in rectification.

यहाँ दृश्य और श्रव्य का पुनः सुंदर मेल है। हवा चलने पर पताकाओं में लगी घंटियाँ बजती थीं, जिससे एक निरंतर संगीत बजता रहता था। 'हृष्टः' (प्रसन्न) शब्द पुनः हनुमान जी के उत्साह को दर्शाता है; बाधाओं को पार कर लक्ष्य के समीप पहुँचने का आनंद। 'अभिपेदिवान' (चढ़ गए/कूद गए) हनुमान जी की त्वरित कार्यवाही को दर्शाता है। वे केवल देख नहीं रहे, अब उन्होंने अतिक्रमण (trespass) आरम्भ कर दिया है।
