इक्ष्वाकूणां वरिष्ठस्य रामस्य विदितात्मनः ।
शुभानि धर्मयुक्तानि वचनानि समर्पयन् ।

ikṣvākūṇāṃ variṣṭhasya rāmasya viditātmanaḥ । śubhāni dharmayuktāni vacanāni samarpayan । । 5.30.42।। ॥5-30-42॥
Translation
(Hanuman thought) "I shall offer/present the auspicious and righteous words (story) of Rama, the best among the Ikshvakus and the knower of the Self."

(हनुमान जी ने सोचा) "मैं इक्ष्वाकु वंश में श्रेष्ठ और आत्मज्ञानी श्री राम के शुभ और धर्म से युक्त वचनों (कथा) को सीता जी के समक्ष प्रस्तुत करूँगा।"
English Commentary
Hanuman is outlining his communication strategy here. He realizes that to win Sita's trust, merely mentioning Rama's name is not enough; the narrative must be 'dharmayukta' (righteous/truthful) and 'shubha' (auspicious). By using the adjective 'viditatmanah' (knower of the Self), Hanuman establishes that Rama is not just a warrior but a being of high spiritual consciousness. This is a well-thought-out psychological approach to bring immediate solace to Sita's distressed mind before revealing his physical presence.
