इति स बहुविधं महानुभावो जगतिपतेः प्रमदामवेक्षमाणः ।
मधुरमवितथं जगाद वाक्यं द्रुमविटपान्तरमास्थितो हनूमान् ।

iti sa bahuvidhaṃ mahānubhāvo jagatipateḥ pramadāmavekṣamāṇaḥ । madhuramavitathaṃ jagāda vākyaṃ drumaviṭapāntaramāsthito hanūmān । । 5.30.44।। ॥5-30-44॥
Translation
Having thought in these various ways, the noble-minded Hanuman, hiding amidst the tree branches and gazing at the wife of the Lord of the World (Rama), spoke sweet and truthful words.

ऐसा अनेक प्रकार से विचार करके, महान अनुभव वाले उन हनुमान जी ने वृक्ष की डालियों के बीच छिपे रहकर, जगतपति श्री राम की पत्नी (सीता) की ओर देखते हुए, मधुर और सत्य वचन कहे।
English Commentary
This verse marks the transition from 'thought' to 'action.' Hanuman remains hidden ('drumavitapantaramasthito'). He does not want to shock Sita by appearing visually; instead, he aims to soothe her mind through the auditory medium first. The word 'avitatham' (without falsehood/truthful) indicates that the story he is about to narrate is pure fact, unembellished. This is Hanuman’s first introduction to Sita—invisible, sweet, and truthful.

यह श्लोक 'विचार' से 'क्रिया' (Action) के संक्रमण को दर्शाता है। हनुमान जी अभी भी छिपे हुए हैं ('द्रुमविटपान्तरमास्थितो')। वे दृश्य रूप से प्रकट होकर सीता जी को चौंकाना नहीं चाहते, बल्कि श्रव्य माध्यम (Audio) से पहले उनके मन को शांत करना चाहते हैं। 'अवितथं' (असत्य से रहित/यथार्थ) शब्द बताता है कि जो कहानी वे सुनाने जा रहे हैं, उसमें कोई मिलावट नहीं है। यह सीता जी के लिए हनुमान जी का पहला परिचय है—अदृश्य, मधुर और सत्य।
